Favorite Recipe: Basil Martini
An exceptional Martini- makes 1
Muddle 5-6 small fresh tender basil leaves with 3/4 shot of simple syrup; add juice from 1/2 of a lime or more depending on taste or use 2 small key limes; add a full shot of Bombay Sapphire Gin. I serve this over ice to help dilute!! Delicious.
Simple syrup: on stove combine 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water – heat until dissolved. Keep stored in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
