This week I had the opportunity to travel to Charleston, South Carolina. What a quaint and beautiful place to visit with all its nuance, history, and flavor. Having only four days I needed to take in as much as I possibly could and let me tell you, four days was truly not near enough time!
Recently I traveled to beautiful Costa Rica- meaning “rich coast” in Spanish. A country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. I’ve had this destination on my bucket list for photography and was so excited to get the opportunity to go.
Hard to believe that July is already gone- time really flies when you’ve got your hands full of projects!! Continue reading “Mama Carp’s “Fish Tales” for July”
Thursday morning coffee at 7am came to a halt as I grabbed for my camera. I was staring out the window and could not believe my eyes- Pelicans-on Forest Lake?!!
With summer just around the corner, Forest Lake will soon be busy with boating, fishing & wakeboarding! If you happen to float by the house, give me a toot – one of us here would love to take a picture of your big “catch of the day”, a trick wakeboarding or a boat load of happy faces : )
Max Capra- summer 2012

2006 we traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and I would definitely go back! It was an amazing place to vacation – one of my top 3…. so far….
