After a long winter of cold and snow, springtime is more than welcome!
It was a great winter for the ice fishers. Here’s a few pictures from December 11th – February 28th.
Anxiously awaiting spring, I look forward to the beautiful sunrises, somehow they just seem a little more colorful.
And the arrival of some familiar faces along with a new one….introducing miss”Georgie” the chipmunk.
With waiting for ice out on Forest Lake I watched a beautiful pair of trumpeter swans head out past my favorite restaurant Acqua and 10 eagles playing on the edge of the ice as the first spring storm rolled in.
And in the morning we had our earliest ice out in a long time- never have we had our dock in this early! And a pleasant surprise visit from an old loon friend I thought I lost last fall.
Last spring was really exciting for Craig and I. The anticipation of what landscaping made it through a really cold winter after all of our hard work was really fun (Flip #6-The back Yard…) I put together a slideshow from March 31st through August 29th, 2014. This definitely has me excited for this years springtime blooms! Enjoy!!
