Chocolate, bacon and maple buttercream frosting… what else could you want?!!Here is a cupcake that’s sure to impress! I made these a few years back for a shower and they were devoured! (Welcome Baby Kiera)
Just use the Black Magic cake recipe, then whip up a batch of Mama Carp’s Maple Buttercream frosting. I load the frosting into a gallon baggie and snip off the end to frost. Fry up some bacon (Oscar Meyer is our FAVORITE) drain well on paper towels then dip in melted chocolate. These are so good!
Maple Buttercream frosting
- 1 cup butter (room temperature) whipped
- 2 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoons real maple syrup
- 2 Tablespoons fresh brown sugar
Whip the butter, slowly add the powdered sugar, then the maple syrup and brown sugar -incorporate well.
