November 1st is the day I try to work on my front pots. I tried to wait one year until Thanksgiving, needless to say I won’t make that mistake again. Minnesota weather is just too unpredictable! Convincing Craig that I desperately needed my heavy pots defrosted was not an easy request…
So, at least my pots have their fall look for all the trick or treaters and I can minimalize the Christmas look until after Thanksgiving. I keep all the pumpkins that weren’t carved – if they still look fresh then show them off! I have them everywhere including the deck and veranda. I have very little take down from Halloween to make it an easy transition. Pull out those cinnamon candles – they look beautiful at night and fill the air with that warm incredible smell. The word HOME and a few turkeys will be taking the place of Halloween articles. This month I will share with you a few of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes. Well, I’m off – spruce tops here I come! Make it a good day! Love, MC
