Of course I couldn’t wait to make something special for my girls college roommate Amber! Baby gifts are my favorite <3
I went to a favorite little shop in Anoka, Minnesota called Millie P’s and walked past this darling little quilt called “Chubby Chicks”
I went in search for a fun combination of pinks and stumbled upon this lovely little combination.
Ready to go I set out to have a fun day of sewing with a room full of “chicks” and my long time companion Miss Truffles. She obviously was wanting my attention instead and was playing with fire when it came to me and my rotary knife…
It didn’t take long to know this was going to be a sweet little quilt for the new baby girl to be named “Mila Marie”
With the quilt done and on its way to my quilter I was ready to create a matching card with my Silhouette and the fabric blade.
Quite pleased, I was excited to complete our gift with a matching tutu, onesie and headband. And of course the wonderful rice bags for new Mom and baby!
With the quilt perfectly finished by the very talented Norma Riehm I was ready to bind and excited to send it off to the new little bundle.
Congratulations Amber and Andrew! Wishing you many many years of precious memories with your little beauty! Love always, Chelsie, Allie & Teri
