Ever since I met Craig he has special ordered his chocolate chip cookies as follows: double the nuts and use half the chocolate chips. Well, after countless batches of cookies I have to say it’s the only way to go-seriously the best homemade chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever eaten! Continue reading “Nut’s To You!”
Never did I think that I’d be stumbled upon by the producers of HGTV/DIY network.
It’s truly amazing to me that for the last three weeks I’ve been in contact with some awesome producers who thought our family and the work that we did on our flip houses was of interest! After much thought it was a family decision to decline the offer… it’s a compliment I will always cherish. Doing a show would have been such fun but with Craig’s business and 4 busy young professionals a series just couldn’t work….
For someone who hates regrets I’ll always wonder, but in my heart this family is everything I’ll ever need and that always comes first!
Here is a video that was put together for them-I took out the interviews to shorten it up some. A HUGE thank you to the producers of HGTV for an exciting three weeks and the amazing opportunity, ❤ The Carpenters
This martini has been my signature drink for many years.I always keep these ingredients on hand; Dekuyper Watermelon Pucker, Dekuyper Island Punch Pucker and Absolut Citron Vodka.
Super easy, 1 shot of each shaken vigorously with ice, pour into martini glass and top it off with a fresh lemon slice. So, is it a “guilty pleasure” to drink it or could it be to serve it?!!
These “GP” tini’s taste like sweethearts, are a really beautiful color and go down way too easy. Stock up for all of your upcoming guests-Cheers!!!
First and foremost-I want to wish all of you Moms a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Being a mom is an incredible blessing-today i’m writing my thoughts about my journey and the importance of this role. Continue reading “My Take on Motherhood”
Here in Minnesota, rhubarb is a cherished springtime delicacy! I made this recipe for a bundt cake but you can easily make this into cupcakes, just adjust your baking time.
I started with my favorite “go to” recipe for an amazing white cake from the King Arthur Flour Company called “Tender White Cake”. You will need a box of KAF cake flour blend, I found it at my local market.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a Bundt cake pan with oil and flour (I used a 15 cup bundt cake pan). Continue reading “Rhubarb Cheesecake Bundt Cake”
